Dear University Representatives,

Welcome to the second edition of the Future Pathways Festival, South America! We are delighted to have you on board for what promises to be an enriching and inspiring experience.

This year, our festival has expanded to include 13 schools across five countries, introducing Brazil for the first time. With a total of 20,000 students and 3,000 in their final years of study, the enthusiasm for international education is palpable. We are expecting a significant turnout of 5,000 attendees, indicative of the festival’s growing significance.

Last year’s event brought together over 100 institutions, igniting new ideas and adventures. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners who contributed to the success of the event and supported our mission.

As we gear up for another enriching experience, we encourage you to consult this manual for all your preparation needs. Should you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to any member of our organizing committee.

We look forward to welcoming you to the festival from September 25th to October 3rd!

Warm regards,

Michael Bartlett

About ISP

The International Schools Partnership (ISP) is a growing British group of K12 schools across the world, currently comprising 80 schools spanning 22 countries.

“GROWING LEARNING, GROWING SCHOOLS”, perfectly embodies the ISP difference; reflecting our journey and what binds us together. We are developing schools for 2–18-year-olds with learning at the heart of each school, helping our children and students learn to levels that amaze them. At the same time, we are listening to our parents and students to broaden the appeal of our schools, with the aim of each one becoming the school of choice in its local area over time.

We are constantly enhancing our existing group of schools with new ones including those we develop ourselves, and new schools that want to join our partnership.

Embarking on a journey across South America promises an unforgettable adventure. While traversing this vast continent may present challenges due to its sheer size and varying distances between countries, rest assured that every moment will be part of an unforgettable adventure.

For all representatives joining us for the entire festival, we suggest the following flight recommendations that align with our proposed itinerary. As the festival spans multiple countries and venues, selecting the right flights will ensure an amazing travel experience.

When planning your travel itinerary, we highly recommend considering LATAM and Avianca airlines for their extensive network and convenient flight options within South America. These airlines offer frequent and direct flights, ensuring a smoother journey for your expedition.

Saturday afternoon on the 28th and Sunday the 29th present an opportunity to either explore the vibrant life in Lima or to kick-start your journey in the bustling city of São Paulo. Whatever your choice, prepare for an extraordinary adventure that awaits!

Festival Format

At ISP, we are dedicated to guiding our students through their academic journeys and empowering them to pursue international studies successfully. As part of this commitment, we are excited to welcome you to the 2nd edition of the ISP Future Pathways Festival South America.

Last year’s festival was an outstanding success, with over 4,000 attendees and representation from over 100 institutions. It is clear that there is a growing demand for international education, as evidenced by the impressive amount of engagement along all the venues. Parents, students, and HEIs engaged in conversations that sparked new dreams and opportunities.

Now spanning Chile, Peru, Brazil Colombia, and Ecuador, our festival celebrates South America’s diverse educational landscape. The 2024 edition promises to be even more exceptional, with an expected attendance of 5,000 and the inclusion of table fairs, workshops, parent visits, and guest schools from outside the ISP, to offer engaging activities and a supportive network. This expansion reflects the festival’s growing reputation and influence in guiding students towards their academic futures.

Your institution’s participation shapes the educational journeys of our students, guiding them towards boundless opportunities. Explore the ISP Future Pathways Festival South America 2024, where we continue to pave the way for academic success.

Food

We want to assure you that our participating schools in Chile, Perú, Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador, are putting their best efforts to make your experience at the ISP Future Pathways Festival South America exceptional. To keep you fueled up during the event, schools have organized food options for purchase.

Meal prices will vary between 8-10 US dollars, so please keep the local currency in mind when making your purchases:

Transportation

With a jam-packed agenda, punctuality and cooperation are key to ensuring that the event runs smoothly. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the schedule to help us keep up with the timetables as much as possible.

Regarding transportation, on days when there are two venues, transfer within those locations will be provided for international representatives. This ensures that you do not have to navigate the city on your own, allowing you to focus on engaging with our vibrant ISP community.

While we will do our best to offer airport transportation, this will depend on the number of international representatives flying with our suggested itinerary. The same applies to remote locations that may experience traffic congestion. Alternative transportation options like taxis and popular ride-hailing services are readily available for your convenience.

Please be aware that parking space is limited. If you plan to travel by car, kindly inform us in advance so that we can make arrangements to secure a parking spot for you. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Networking & Receptions

At ISP Future Pathways Festival South America’s 2nd edition, our commitment lies in fostering connections that empower students and shape their educational journeys. Recognizing the significance of networking, we have meticulously planned several activities to facilitate meaningful connections among Higher Education Institution Representatives, Schools Advisers, and SLTs.

Our agenda will highlight a welcome event and a farewell event, thoughtfully curated to preserve the essential networking moments that contributed to the festival’s success last year.

Throughout the festival, we will offer diverse opportunities for all stakeholders to engage in discussions, exchange ideas, and establish collaborations. These activities aim to create a supportive environment conducive to forging partnerships and expanding professional networks within the vibrant educational community cultivated by the festival.
